Ringwood Manor has a diverse array of collections. The Hewitt family collected items their entire lives--things they found to be historic, interesting, artistic, or just generally appealing to them. When they donated Ringwood Manor and all its interior contents, those eclectic collections became the core of the museum.
Objects in the Manor include: furniture, rugs and textiles, firearms, fine arts, china and decorative objects, taxidermy, sculpture, maps, toys and games, books and magazines, architectural elements, clocks, utilitarian items and household accessories, lighting fixtures, and wallpaper. Additionally, the objects and outbuildings on the grounds are considered part of the museum collection at Ringwood.
To learn more about the specific collections and their history, please visit Ringwood Manor for a tour of the interior or of the grounds and gardens. See the Tourspage of the website for more information.
