HISTORIAN'S HAND-PICK TOURS

PLEASE NOTE:
Ringwood Manor will be closed for guided interior tours in 2025 to prepare for and execute an
exterior restoration project.
Outdoor tours & events, along with our carriage barn exhibit, will be open as normal beginning in May. Please visit our Carriage Barn page, Events page, and Grounds & Garden Tours page for details.

​Join one of Ringwood Manor's senior staff as they hand-pick an exclusive tour with a special focus. Learn in-depth information about the historic figures of the property, the collections, the structures, and more!

These tours are intended for visitors who have already attended the general guided tours of the Manor. If you have not attended our general interior guided tour before, we highly recommend you do so before purchasing Historian Hand-Pick tour tickets. Please click here for information on our regular tours. 


These tours are not suitable for children due to the length of time of the tours. 

Tickets must be purchased in advance through Eventbrite. Please click on the button for the tour you wish to attend to purchase your today.


Please proceed to the Manor office to check in at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time you purchased tickets for. Please note: late arrivals will not be permitted to join tours already in progress.  No refunds.

Scandals, Drama, & the Untold Stories

​This tour is all about the uncomfortable and not-so-pleasant history of Ringwood Manor and its various historic figures from the past 250 years. Starting in 1765 and running through the early 20th century, everything from gossip people whispered about behind closed doors to sensational courtroom dramas that were splashed across newspapers nationwide will be discussed. 

Tour lasts approximately 1 and 1/2 hours.

A Servant's Life at Ringwood Manor

Ever wonder what life was like for a servant or employee living and working at  Ringwood Manor? This tour will give you a glimpse into their lives and daily routines, and who was employed to keep Ringwood Manor running.
​ Note: participants should be able to climb three flights of stairs


Tour lasts approximately 1 and 1/2 hours.
​Tour limited to 12 people.
