One of the easiest ways to get involved at Ringwood Manor and is to become a member of Ringwood Manor's 501(c)3 non-profit, the North Jersey Highlands Historical Society (NJHHS)! NJHHS welcomes all new members and volunteers. Please click the link below for information about getting involved with the organization.
Ringwood Manor and Ringwood State Park are administered by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. Each year, seasonal employees are hired to work from May through September in a number of roles. Open positions and job descriptions can be found on the Division of Parks and Forestry website. No experience is necessary. Salaries start at $16/hr. The minimum age for most positions is 16.

Full-time, permanent employees at Ringwood Manor and Ringwood State Park are hired by the State of New Jersey. Open positions are listed through the State of New Jersey Civil Service Commission at the link below. Please do not send resumes to Ringwood Manor.
DUE TO THE UPCOMING RESTORATION PROJECT OF RINGWOOD MANOR AND ITS SUBSEQUENT CLOSURE, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERS AT THIS TIME.
Individuals may assist at Ringwood Manor by becoming a volunteer tour guide, gardener, or researcher. Individuals are asked to volunteer at least 4 hours each month at a minimum. Volunteers who wish to be tour guides should expect several weeks of training before they are able give guided tours of the Manor.
Eagle Scout, National Honor Society, and other community service projects at Ringwood Manor would also be considered volunteering at the site. Please note that while Ringwood Manor always tries to accommodate all requests to volunteer at the site, due to limited staffing and the specialize nature of the historic building and museum, not all requests may be possible.

Ringwood Manor occasionally accepts internship applications from current college students. Internships offer training in various aspects of museum management and allow interns to gain practical museum experience through part-time internships. These positions however require a minimum commitment of four hours per week for at least ten weeks per semester.
